How UK Prize Competitions Work
UK prize competitions (sometimes called comps) let people pay for tickets for a chance to win a prize. They are not the same as the National Lottery. Reputable operators run transparent draws, publish clear terms, and cap entries fairly.
How entries work
Entrants choose a competition, buy one or more tickets within any published limits, and receive ticket numbers for the draw. Operators should make the entry process, closing date, and draw method easy to find before you pay.
How winners are chosen
Reputable operators run transparent live draws using a random number generator tied to sold ticket numbers. CompetitionGo draws winners live on Facebook and YouTube every Wednesday and Sunday at 8PM UK time.
Ticket caps and fairness
Good operators cap tickets per person and per competition so entries stay fair. CompetitionGo uses ticket caps on every competition and publishes previous winners on the winners page.
